  • identifies, reviews and harnesses opportunities to further enhance RMIT’s global model,
  • nurtures RMIT alumni and stewards RMIT’s philanthropic activity,
  • leads and coordinates RMIT’s global education partnerships,
  • manages global experience opportunities for RMIT students, staff and alumni.

In addition, it connects and coordinates RMIT’s presences throughout the world including RMIT entities in Australia, Vietnam and Europe (Spain) and representative offices in other countries.

The Role & Your Responsibilities

The Project Manager Partnership Life-cycle Management leads the efforts of the Global Development Portfolio team to project manage and roll out a partnership life-cycle management framework. This role will make a strategic contribution to the 2018 Focus Areas through the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Global Partnership Framework. The position requires high-level project management skills, experience in international partnership management, and an understanding of the University regulatory environment.

Skills & Experience Required

You will manage the development of the Global Institutional Partnership Life-cycle Management Framework, including the development of robust process for managing, performance tracking, quality assurance, review, renewal or exit of partnership agreements. You will undertake analysis and review activities to enable the University to maintain active and vibrant partnerships and relationships covering due diligence as well as risk assessment. Important to this role will be your outstanding interpersonal skills coupled with cultural sensitivity and knowledge to be able to operate independently to achieve desired outcomes in a variety of international contexts. Furthermore, you will have the ability to establish strong stakeholder relationships within the University community, building trust and encouraging colleagues to share information and ideas and to work collectively towards common goals.
