Property Services has approximately 120 staff and has the responsibility to operate, maintain and enhance the buildings owned and leased by RMIT University, oversee construction projects and ensure the provision of physical facilities services

The Role & Your Responsibilities

The SAP Administrator is a focal point of reference to coach / mentor / guide & update SAP as required for the Capital Works Project Manager/s &/or Program Leads.

Work load may flex up/down depending on the level/number of Projects in-flight.  Where there is additional capacity, it is expected that the incumbent will assist the Project Management Team with other work.  Where there is excessive demand on this role (during peak Project Management season) additional resources will be deployed & the incumbent may need to train/manage this additional resource.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Prepare/issue weekly project reporting.
  • Prepare/issue monthly outstanding Purchase Orders report/s.
  • Coach / mentor Project Managers on SAP functionality – changing delivery dates, uploading orders, loading FMZ1 commitments on behalf of Project Managers, uploading plans, goods receipting, etc.Ability to manage the performance of contracts, programs and projects and effectively deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Attend to invoice processing in-mail.
  • Invoices processed & paid on a timely basis.  
  • Timely & accurate completion of work.
