The College of Business is one of the largest business schools in the Asia Pacific region and delivers industry-engaged education and applied research that spark ambition and new perspectives. Attracting over 31,000 students, programs are delivered in Melbourne, Vietnam, and via significant teaching partnerships in Singapore, China and Indonesia. Through RMIT Online the College offers a range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs.
The College of Business comprises seven schools offering programs from traineeship to PhD levels. Many programs articulate between vocational education and higher education, creating pathways for further study.
Graduate School of Business & Law – is recognised throughout the Asia Pacific region as a leading provider of law education and MBA programs. The School focuses on providing industry-engaged education and training and undertaking practical research, relevant to current business and community trends. The School consistently develops well-educated, self-aware and highly competent graduates.
Role and Responsibilities
The Head of School is a dynamic individual who deeply understands collegially and partnering. You will embrace the opportunity to lead and inspire your team, manage the academic business of the School and be responsible for all aspects of staff career development. As part of the executive leadership team, and reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Business) & Vice President, you will actively contribute to the strategic direction of the College.

You will have a positive attitude and a commitment to developing the School and College of Business to meet the opportunities and challenges of the next decade. You will have demonstrated commitment to student achievement, relevant and impactful research and community engagement. As a collaborative leader, you will have experience in developing and growing innovative and attractive courses, and forging effective and enduring links with industry partners. You are passionate, energetic and driven with a keen sense of integrity.
