The Role and Responsibilities

The Technical Officer reports to the Technical Manager and is responsible for providing technical support for the School’s teaching and research activities in the area of Applied Chemistry, Environmental Science, Food chemistry.  Specifically, the Technical Officer is responsible for the preparation of class materials for undergraduate practical classes along with postgraduate and research laboratory support.

Skills & Experience Required

You will have demonstrated experience in chemistry laboratories, as well as proficiency in laboratory methods. A strong understanding of the latest Work Safe practices and OH&S legislations, along with an ability to work with a diverse group will be essential to your success in the role.
