The Role and Your Responsibilities
The Administrative Officer, Research, will be responsible for supporting one of the five disciplinary schools in the College with the management of School’s research activities, including the administration of research policies and procedures, management of HDR candidates, and support to the School Research Committee. The role will also provide advice to and participate in the implementation of quality assurance processes and systems.
Skills & Experience Required
You will have proven experience and ability to work in administrative roles in a complex research environment. You will demonstrate experience and expertise in the provision of quality customer service, including sound knowledge and consistent application of relevant University policy and procedures and the ability to provide high level advice, and a commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement. Knowledge and understanding of the tertiary education sector, and experience with using Student Administration Management System (SAMS), iExplore, SharePoint and ResearchMaster software is preferred.
