The Role

As the Manager Sponsorships, you will be responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of RMIT’s Sponsorship strategy and delivery of key sponsorship activations and activities. Working with the Assistant Director, Sponsorships and Events, you will drive commercial outcomes and uplift of the customer experience across the marketing and sales funnels.

Your Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and support the delivery of RMIT’s Sponsorship strategy and framework
  • Work with University stakeholders to create sponsorship and partnership opportunities that will drive meaningful and differentiation experiences for our audiences
  • Ensure all sponsorship activity is positioned and optimised to best leverage RMIT’s brand and reputation in the market
  • Contribute to Marketing and Sales growth targets through the activation of a diverse range of sponsorships and partnerships
  • Review and assess RMIT’s sponsorship framework to ensure the delivery of brand alignment, consistency, quality and organisational values.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated success in delivering sponsorship activities that produce meaningful experiences and tangible outcomes
  • Ability to utilise agile work practices to deliver and optimise sponsorship opportunities
  • Strong project management experience, with the ability to build strong business rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent ability to independently analyse and interpret a wide range of information and make rational decisions in order to solve complex problems and issues.
