About the role and team:

The Enterprise Projects and Business Performance (EPBP) team houses significant project delivery capabilities and plays an active role in delivering on RMIT’s strategic vision and transforming the staff and student experience. The EPBP team is a key enabler in bringing the University’s strategy to life.

Utilising proven process improvement methodologies focused on enhancements to customer experience, the Business Analyst role supports the identification, design and delivery of strategic University initiatives that encourage an 'agile' mindset.

The role will lead process requirement and design sessions with key stakeholders by leveraging their experience in process improvement to implement agreed initiatives that also drive efficiency and de-risk business operations.

This role will also lead process requirement and design sessions with key stakeholders by leveraging their experience in improvement methodologies to implement agreed improvement initiatives focussed on uplifting the staff and student experience, driving efficiencies and de-risking business operations.

About you:

  • Demonstrated 1-3 years of experience in business process mapping and re-engineering, and/or business analysis.
  • Experience & knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean/Six Sigma) and validated experience in building and cultivating partnerships with key stakeholders from idea all the way to delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting data analysis as part of an improvement program and/or significant transformational change in a medium/large scale organisation.

Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline.
