About the role
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for supporting all aspects of the planning and operations associated with Facilities in the School of Architecture and Urban Design. The position manages a small facilities team and is also required to liaise extensively with College and University staff and service groups, particularly Property Services and the Financial Services Group. You will be responsible for maintaining records and planning and preparing documentation for a number of facilities-related activities and processes in the School

In this role, you will also be responsible for managing access and space arrangements for staff, students and visitors within the building, whilst maintaining accurate OHS, building maintenance and asset records. You will also manage the process of equipment procurement and the maintenance of storage and removals for the School.

About you
To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated project management experience in a similar facilities focused role, coupled with the ability to lead a team. You will have experience in contributing to continuous improvement and be able to problem solve swiftly in a changing and evolving environment. In additional, you will be able to liaise with and build relationships with various different professional and academic stakeholders across the University, whilst demonstrating diplomacy and professionalism. This is a diverse role where no day will be the same, and you will enjoy the variety and combination of hands-on and administration work.
