  • Enable our students and staff to access what they need anywhere, anytime and however they choose. 

Project Pi aims to simplify and standardise how our staff and students interact with RMIT every day. We want to use real-time data a lot smarter so our staff, our research partners, our industry partners and our students have access to quality information anytime. We want to provide a service experience that will enable our students to log-on, enrol, change course details and engage with us in a way that suits them and their lifestyle 24/7.

The Role:

The Data stream manages the movement of all required data from legacy systems into targeted state applications (Workday etc). The stream is also responsible for managing the target state reporting needs of the program. The Data stream now requires a Data Stream ETL Developer to work with Data Analysts to design, build and execute the data extraction process from a of RMIT sourcing systems.

The Data Stream ETL Developer will be a well-rounded business intelligence developer with experience of implementing ETL solutions for clients in different industries and dealing with various types of challenging data.

About You:

The successful candidates will have demonstrated experience of:

  • Designing, developing and supporting ETL pipelines using SSIS/SSRS and/or BODS
  • Extracting and manipulating data from one application to another
  • Some payroll, contracts and/or procurement business data knowledge, ideal but not essential
