About the role and college / portfolio:

The School of Vocational Engineering, Health and Sciences offers a diverse range of certificate, diploma and sub-bachelor programs, and provides opportunities for students to extend their learning across the entire spectrum of vocational and higher education both within the College and beyond.

Due to an internal promotion in the team, we are currently seeking for a School Services Officer to provide support in day to day activities within the School.  The incumbent will work under the direction of the HR & School Services Coordinator to provide a high level of service across processes and tasks which support the effective operation of the School. These include: casual/sessional staff engagement and administration, School OH&S administration, facilities and resources coordination, customer service such as responding to and directing enquires and managing bookings.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in providing outstanding administration support in a large complex organisation. You will have the ability to liaise and build relationships with multiple stakeholders and will have strong written and verbal communication skills. You will have solid experience in Microsoft Suite, and demonstrated high level of computer literacy including: strong MS Excel skills, word processing; presentation software; email; internet and electronic document management applications.

Qualifications:

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience.
