Situated within the Office of the Director, TAFE, this position coordinates projects and activities funded by external grants, in particular the E-Learning Grant and TAFE development projects. This entails project managing: planning activities, focus groups; initiatives and conducting evaluations to ensure that professional development is clearly aligned to the University priorities.
Reporting through to the Manager, VET Professional Development, your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintain a productive working relationship with the TAFE Development Centre.
- Work collaboratively within the Office of Director TAFE and across RMIT including with People and Culture, Academic Colleges, Schools, Policy and Planning Group, and Global Business Development
- Contribute to the work of RMIT’s Educational Technology Advisory Group (ETAG).
With proven teaching experience, we are looking for you to possess high level planning and project management skills. Described as a keen relationship builder, you have a proven ability to build and work with networks, including external agencies and across a range of organisational units, to achieve goals. Your strong working knowledge of the VET and TAFE sector will be underpinned with relevant teaching qualifications and or certifications.
