About the role 

The Growth Manager is accountable for developing creative end to end propositions by identifying opportunities to grow and optimise segments and markets. The role collaborates with marketing, digital and student recruitment teams along with stakeholders from across the university to drive new customer acquisitions, engage audiences and retain customers.

This position will lead the creation of a pipeline of projects, using information and market knowledge to identify growth opportunities.

As part of a collaborative team, responsibilities include:

  • Identifying immediate and longer-term opportunities to create and improve propositions
  • Developing and implementing pivotal initiatives including business cases that drive commercial and customer outcomes
  • Building and maintaining productive relationships across Colleges and Portfolios to synthesise profile, price and product strategies
  • Developing and leading strategies to respond to market changes to defend or grow market share

To secure this opportunity, you will need:

  • Strong ability to translate your understanding of customer’s needs and behaviour into meaningful and achievable initiatives.
  • Experience developing end to end propositions in large and complex organisations including a project pipeline lifecycle framework
  • Proven ability to initiate programs of work, deliver outcomes, measure impact and communicate effectively
  • Ability to influence senior leaders across the organisation in execution of a strong growth strategy
  • Strong analytical and insight capabilities including independently analysing and interpreting a wide range of information
