About the role: 

This position provides oversight, advice and support to the VE College in planning and managing the activities required to achieve its quality and compliance obligations ahead of ASQA re-registration by 30 June, 2022. You will be required to lead and manage a program of work around re-registration derived from self-assessment activities and audit outcomes and will be required to work with the Learning & Teaching Innovation team, broader VE community and internal risk and audit to ensure achievement of key deliverables.

You will be required to work effectively across all levels of the organisation, developing productive working relationships with stakeholders with all members of the VE community and business partners from other Colleges and portfolios.

About you: 

You will demonstrate significant experience in the Vocational Education sector in quality and compliance areas with a particularly focus on ASQA Standards. You will demonstrate a high level of interpersonal consultation and negotiation skills and the ability to work closely with senior managers/executives and maintain effective and productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Proven management skills including the capacity to initiate, lead and manage continuous improvement in a challenging and dynamic environment will be imperative to your success in this role. In addition, you will have a strong commitment to quality assurance, and applying policies, procedures, legislation and risk management in day-to-day performance.

Qualifications:

A relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive relevant management experience.

Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children Check.
