About the role: 

You will lead a team of technical officers in the provision of services for engineering and trades programs. This role supports Staff, Students and Partners to achieve teaching and commercial outcomes, and coordinates day to day operations. In addition, you will ensure that technical facilities are developed and maintained to the highest industry and educational standards. Working across a wide range of activities, equipment and processes, employed within these facilities, the role will deliver creative solutions to the unique and challenging problems associated with delivery of education, innovations and environments.

About you: 

You have experience working in a trade or engineering background. You will demonstrate experience in leading and managing staff to be service-oriented, flexible and responsive to changing needs. You will also demonstrate the ability to manage projects and lifecycle of equipment/resources. Demonstrated ability to deliver flexible solutions to technical problems, preferably within an educational context will be highly regarded. In addition, you will have strong knowledge and application of OHS legislation and regulations particularly regarding technical and workshop environments.
