About the Role AS the ECDF, you will be part of the academic community within the Aerospace Engineering and Aviation Discipline and will contribute to teaching and course coordination at an undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as conducting research activities within the Discipline in the following areas: digital aviation and digital technologies in aviation management, airline and airport operations, airport automation, avionics, big data and data analysis. In this role, you will also be expected to promote your teaching and research activities by establishing and maintaining industry links and partnerships and work in collaboration with fellow academics and the teaching and research community.
As the successful applicant you will have:
Mandatory: PhD or equivalent research doctorate in related field.
Preferred: Completion of the Essentials in Tertiary Teaching Practice program or equivalent (if the appointed candidate does not meet this requirement at time of appointment, they will be supported to complete this as a requirement to fulfil their probation).
